Awesome surf school! We had a surf lesson with Nelson in December and it was brilliant. My partner had never surfed before but felt very safe and really enjoyed the food experience. I was rusty but still caught a few nice waves and Nelson gave me some really good tips and adjustments to try. Equipment was decent and they obviously know a lot about the local area which is always crucial. My only regret was we only had one day in Sagres. We’ll 100% be back
I had a great experience at wave sensations. It was my first time surfing, and the instructors were very knowledgeable, supportive and safe. They gave me great tips during my 3 days of surfing, and the groups were small so it almost felt like a private session. Shout out to my instructor Guillermi for the best of times! Will definitely be returning here if when I’m back in Sagres.
Surfing lessons with Wave Sensations were an absolute thrill! From mastering the basics to riding the waves like a pro, every moment was filled with excitement and progress. We are two complete beginners at surfing and had such a great experience with the team at wave sensations. The instructors are just brilliant, they keep the group size small enough that they can focus on each individual at different times throughout the session, giving advice in the water and getting you out onto the beach at times to work on specific movements/techniques. Each day, they managed to split the group in a way that everyone has a chance to progress and they were always encouraging each of us to push ourselves. Safety was a top priority and I always felt I had the tools to keep myself safe and that the instructors were looking out for me. If I go back to Sagres I would 100% go with the same team and recommend them very highly! Thanks so much guys. Oh and great value for money as well.
Absolutely loved my surf lesson with Wavesensations! There were 4 instructors for 5 clients, which meant we got really individualized attention and feedback. The instructors are all super friendly, really passionate about both surfing AND teaching, and prioritized fun and safety. I wasn't expecting to be able to stand up after my first lesson - but I credit it to them!! I was initially really nervous going by myself, but they made it easy and fun. Regret only having one day in Sagres, will definitely be having more lessons with Wavesensations when I'm back :)
