OUR HISTORY
Wavesensations, although not an Amazon or an Apple, had an equally humble and inspiring beginning. Founded by Vicente Lourenço and Catarina Sousa, our "journey" began in the garage of our first hotel, Casa Azul Sagres.
With a huge passion for the sea and nature, Wavesensations has grown and today offers a Surf House, a Surf School, and a Surf Shop.
From the beginning, we wanted to bring a free and responsible spirit to the world of surfing, but above all, a professional one – something that even our friends said was impossible in the surfing world. With ups and downs and some mistakes along the way, we have managed to achieve that desired professionalism. The positive feedback from our customers proves that we are on the right track and is what motivates us to continue growing.
Wavesensations is part of a group of companies in the south of Portugal, where it all started in Sagres, Algarve. In addition to Casa Azul Sagres, we also manage Casa Vica, a family accommodation project. And now, with our online store, we continue to expand and evolve to better serve our customers.
